This year we are so excited to have everyone join us at the Arden Campus for a conference-style weekend! This means all students will go home at night and return the following morning.  Get ready for high energy worship, gospel centered teaching, and a lot of fun.

Cost is $40 per student.

Josh Rutledge


Josh Rutledge is the Vice President of Spiritual Development at Liberty University, where he has served since 2015. His passion and calling is the spiritual formation of the next generation of the church. A frequent speaker on campus at Liberty, he speaks to thousands of students annually, with an aim toward equipping students to live out their faith in the context of the culture around them. He and his wife Meredith, along with their four children, live in Lynchburg, VA.

The cost per student is $40.

Due to contract agreements, we cannot issue any refunds. 

Connect Groups are small groups of students led by student ministry approved adults designed to build relationships, share the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, and communicate God’s Word.

That’s okay! We will place students in groups with same-gender students in similar grades.

Free Time is a time where students and their connect group participate in a high-energy interactive atmosphere.

Below are some guidelines of clothing to wear/not wear:

  • No revealing or excessively tight clothing
  • No offensive slogan or profanity on clothing or hats
  • Shorts should be of appropriate length
  • No sagging pants or shorts
  • No crop tops
  • Skirts/Dresses must be appropriate length
  • No clothing revealing the stomach, bra, or back


We will have merchandise for sale and food vendors selling sweet treats and snacks. 

Absolutely! We will always guarantee that same-gender, new-to-Biltmore friends will be in the same Connect Group as the students who invited them to Wake Weekend. 

Please provide details on any dietary restrictions on the registration form when you sign up your student. We will try our best to accommodate dietary restrictions.

All transportation to/from the church each morning and evening is the responsibility of the student’s parents/legal guardians.

*Franklin Campus students will be transported on Friday evening and will be staying the night in Asheville. They will return to Franklin on Saturday evening.

Overnight activities will not occur this year, except for the Franklin campus. 

Parents will communicate with their student pastor regarding any schedule conflicts during the weekend. 

The registration will include a T-shirt. We will also have merchandise for sale.
